Olive sauce stew slow cooking, amazingly tasty with the addition of olives.
Ingredients:
- 3 boxes of olives without pips.
- Half kg diced beef
- 2 onions, fine chopped
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Tablespoon salt
- Water
Preparation
- Place the olives into a pot with boiling water and cook for about 10-15 minutes (to remove the bitterness and salinity) then drain the olives and set aside.
- fry the onions in a Deep pot with a little oil, until golden.
- Take the olives add into the pot with the fried onions and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Now add the pieces of meat, cloves crushed garlic, some pepper and some salt and cook over low heat.
- Mix 2 tablespoons of tomato paste with a cup of boiling water and add to the pot.
- After about 5 minutes, add to the pot 2 more cups of water, cook for about 40-50 minutes, until the meat becomes soft.
The dish can be served with the addition of white rice. |
